Day 1: Tashkent
Our company is glad to see on Uzbek Tour 8. We have one of the special itineraries for tours. Today you will have a guided tour and visit the Independence square dedicated to the victory over fascism in World War II. Then we will walk along the local Broadway, a walking street between independence square and Amir Timur square. Then you can take a ride in famous Tashkent metro. It is one of the most beautiful subways in the world opened in 1977. The tour will be continued to the Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex that contains of madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. Don't miss to visit the Othman Quran which is the world's oldest Quran copy dating back to 8th century. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 2: Tashkent - Samarkand city tour
You will be transferred to railway station of Tashkent for your train to Samarkand. Samarkand is situated in the valley of the river Zerafshan and defined to be the second largest city of Uzbekistan the same as Babylon or Rome. On arrival you will visit interesting sights as Registan square, Shakhi Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square is a structure of three wonderful Madrasahs dating back to 15-17th centuries. Shakhi Zindeh shows a large assemblage of mausoleums of the 11th-15 centuries. Later on, it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bibi Khanum Mosque is dedicated to beloved Tamerlane's wife when he came back from successful trip in India. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 3: Samarkand - Urgut - Samarkand
The tour will start by travelling to a small village as Urgut. This village is famous for its earsplitting and colorful national bazaar. In the second part of day we will return to Samarkand and drive to see a memorial complex of Al Bukhary. Al Bukhary was an Islamic researcher, who authored the hadith assortment known as Sahih al Bukhari, considered by Sunni Muslims as one of the most authentic Hadith assortments. He is an author of other books such as Al Adab al Mufrad. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Samarkand - Shahrisabs - Bukhara
In the morning, we will visit the birthplace of Amir Timur, the town of Shahrisabs. On arrival, you will admire beauty of Ak Saray Palace, built by Amir Timur. On the main gateway of the Palace was written: "For learning more about our power, look at our buildings". The tour will take you to see Jahongir mausoleum, devoted to the eldest son of Amir Timur, who died in war when he was twenty years old. Afterwards we will visit the Dorus Siadat and Dorus Tillavat memorial complexes where all posterities and relatives of Amir Timur were buried. In the evening we will the drive to Bukhara. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 5: Bukhara city tour
We are glad to present you the next day of our tour. Today you will have the city tour of Bukhara. It is better to visit the ancient citadel in Bukhara of the 4th century as Citadel Ark. Afterwards we will see Samanids mausoleum. It is one of the most beautiful architecture of 9th -10th century. We will drive to see Chashma Ayub or Job's well and Bolo Hauz mosque. Visitors will see the mosque of forty columns dedicated to the Bukhara governor Abu Fayud Khan. The day will take you to the shops where you can get souvenirs for your family and friends. You will see madrasahs of Bukhara as Nodir Divan Begi belonging to the Lyabi House Ensemble. Afterwards, we will visit Poi Kalon complex and admire the beauty of three structures built in the 12th - 16th centuries. They are Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Night is in a hotel.
Day 6: Bukhara
The tour will be continued in Bukhara. You will visit Gijduvan village where you can see the private pottery workshop. Gijduvan ceramics school is famous from roots where its skills passed from generation to generation. Gizhduvan is a birthplace for the sixth generation of potters from Narzullayevs family which overvalued Gijduvan school ceramics all over the world. Gijduvan School of ceramics has geometric pattern where green and blue colors overcome in decoration of products. We will transfer to Varahsha village. It is the ex-capital of Bukhara region, and Vabkent. You will find minaret built in 1196-1198, under the control of Ala ad Din Tekish. We will return to Bukhara. Transfer to a hotel.
Day 7: Bukhara - Tashkent
Today you will visit Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex. It is located few kilometers from Bukhara. The site is an honoring complex of famous Sufi Leader and Philosopher as one of the Muslim pilgrimage places for all people of Islamic world. Sheikh Bakhauddin Nakshbandi was one of the otherworldly masters of Amir Timur. The complex has mosques of Kushbegi and Muzafarohana, courtyard with pool, madrasah, and burial vault of Bukhara rulers and Dakhma on the tomb of Saint Bakhauddin Nakshbandi. The tour will be continued driving to the scenery residence of Bukhara Emirs - Sitorai Mohi Hosa complex. Emir named the palace for his wife who died young age "Star - like and moon- like Palace". In the end of day, we will transfer to Bukhara airport for flight to Tashkent. Night is in a hotel.
Day 8: Tashkent - Flight
