Day 1: Ashgabat
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to Old Nisa. This site was listed under UNESCO Heritage; moreover it was capital of Parthian Empire. After exploring this palce you will have a great opportunity to visit and the late president's Mausoleum and "Gypjak" Mosque. After it you will have a guided city tour in Turkmenistan. Here you will be able to visit the most interesting and main sights of the capital city such as parks and monuments and other important buildings. Night is in hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat - Kow Ata - Nokhur - Balkanabat
In the course of Turkmen tor 3 you will explore the underground lake - Kow-Ata. You can swim in that lake due to the temperature of 33-37 ° C. You will be impressed by the color of this lake that will mesmerize you. After it you will continue your drive to Balkanabat on the way you will have a stop at the Nokhur village. This village is situated in a gloomy valley in the mountains of the Kopet Dag Range. The buildings of this village are made of cement and mud. This place is picture of the village where just main street passing through the city center, narrow streets. The people of this village is living in the mountainous border zone envelop Turkmenistan and Iran. Then continue our way to the Balkanabad city. Night is in the hotel.
Day 3: Balkanabat - Yangikala - Gozli Ata - Turkmenbashi
Today in course of Turkmen tour 3 you will see impressive canyons. At first you will visit Yangikala canyons that are situated 165 km to the north from Balkanabat and 160 km to the east from Turkmenbashi. Moreover you will find the reason of such name for canyons as "fire fortresses". The reason for it is the sheer cliffs of white, yellow, ocher, purple and red colors, fancily carved by winds and rains are very similar to the stone castles from dreams. Moreover you will be bewitched by the view of the canyon during the sunset. Long time ago this place was the bottom of the ancient sea but nowadays you have opportunity to walk here and enjoy the beauty of natural park of sculptures made by compressed soil. Then you will visit to the sacred place of pilgrims - Gozli Ata. After visiting you will continue to drive to Turkmenbashi. Night is in the hotel.
Day 4: Turkmenbashi - Ashgabat - Darwaza
Today you will have a morning flight to Ashgabat. Upon arrival you will continue your drive to the most wanted sights of this tour the famous gas crater Darvaza. This place is popular due to the photos and videos and now you can see the famous "Door to Hell". Here you will be able to immerse in this calming and mysterious atmosphere at daylight and at night, enjoy the heat and sound of the wind and crater. During the night you will sleep in tents.
Day 5: Darwaza - Kunya Urgench - Ashgabat
In the morning we will continue the travel to explore the famous Kunya Urgench. The road to this prominent site is takes 261 km or 4:35 min. This interesting sigh is under protection of UNESCO used to be ancient capital of Khorezm. After it you will have an opportunity to explore such significant sights as mausoleums of II Arslan and SoltanTekesh, Nejmeddin Kubra, Soltan Ali, Turabek -Khanum dated back to12th c, minaret of KutlugTimur, Mamun II. After it you will have a flight to the Ashgabat at 16:20/17:10 (time of flight can be changed). Upon arrival is transfer to hotel for night.
Day 6: Ashgabat - Mary
In the morning you will have a great chance to see the well know Mary where will be guided city tour. After it you will have a chance to explore Historical Museum. After busy day you will have a rest time. Night is in the hotel.
Day 7: Mary - Merv - Ashgabat
Today you will travel to Merv one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. This place is the one of the most important sight in Central Asia that had played important part of developing Silk Road. Here you will be able to witness the great architecture of ancient time such as magnificent Mausoleums of the Sultan of Sanjar and Muhammad Ibn-Zeid dated back to XII century. After it you will return to Ashgabat city where you will visit Russian bazaar. This place is the great choice to buy souvenirs. In addition you will have a chance to visit wonderful Muslim mosque in Turkmenistan - Ertugrul Gazi. The name of this sight was given in honor of the father of Osman Empire's first ruler. Overnight is in the hotel.
