Day 1: Bishkek - Burana - Issyk Kul northern shore
We are glad to provide outstanding Silk Road Tour 1. When you arrive at Manas International Airport, the driver will meet you and transfer to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek (30 minutes). You will have a city tour and visit the famous: Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic and other wonders. Then, we will travel to Issyk Kul Lake. On arrival, you will be inspired by the celestial mountains! Issyk Kul lake ("the pearl of Central Asia") is the second largest alpine lake in the world of 1608 m. above sea level. It is important to note that, this lake never freezes due to salt! On the way you can visit Burana Tower, found in the 11th century. In addition, you will see an open air museum of Balbals or stone warriors. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 2: Issyk Kul - Grigorievskoye - Semenovskoye - Karakol
After breakfast, our dear travelers will drive to Semenovskoye and Grigorievskoye gorges. Tese amazing gorges are connected at the end and attracts tourists from all over the world. The natural park where you can have trekking and hiking tours will catch your attention. Afterwards we will continue our tour to the northern shore of the lake to the town of Karakol and visit the Dungan mosque. In the construction of mosque, no any nails were used. It has Chinese style! The next destination is an old wooden Orthodox Church. Overnight will be spent in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Bishkek
Today you will travel to Jeti Oguz gorge (Seven Bulls). Gorge has seven rocks situated in a row. On the way, you will see the Broken Heart Mountain, inspires everyone on tours. In order to see panorama view, you need to spend 20 minutes of climbing to the top of gorge. Do not pass by of taking stunning photos. Then, we will drive to Bokonbaeva village for meeting with an eagle hunter. On arrival, you will have an eagle show and take photos with wild birds. In the end of day, we will return to Bishkek. Night is in a hotel.
Day 4: Bishkek - Osh - Dustlik - Margilan - Tashkent
The next day of Silk Road Tours 1 will start from morning flight to Osh city. On arrival, you will cross the Dustlik border checkpoint and transfer to Fergana. Then, you will visit Fergana regional museum and find different collection of items of past times. It is an idea of learning more about culture and art of Fergana valley. You will find more 80 000 collections in the museum. The tour will be continued visiting national park of Fergana and Margilan where silk is produced. It is an opportunity to learn how to make silk. The silk made from the nourishing of the silk worms with mulberry leaves, over dyeing with natural vegetal and mineral dyes, to the interlacing of the concluding cloth. The next destination is Fergana train station and board the train. You will have departure at about 16:00 and arrival to Tashkent train station at 20:25. Your night will be spent in a hotel.
Day 5: Tashkent - Samarkand
We are glad to present a city tour in Tashkent. First, visit the Independence Square. It is the symbol of victory over fascism in World War II. Then, walk to the local Broadway, situated between Independence square and Amir Timur square. Continue your way to the famous Tashkent metro, opened in 1977. In the second half of day, you can visit the old parts of the city as Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex. Sites have various madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. In Tashkent, it is recommended to visit the Othman Quran (the world's oldest Quran copy and found in the 8th century). In the end of day, you will be transferred to Samarkand by train. Relax at hotel.
Day 6: Samarkand - Bukhara
Start the city tour in Samarkand and explore the beauty of green and narrow streets. Samarkand is located in the valley of the river Zerafshan as well as the second largest city of Uzbekistan as Babylon or Rome. On the tour, visit the famous places as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square is famous for its madrasahs found in the 15-17th centuries, continue to Shakhi-Zindeh and see sacred mausoleums found in the 11th-15 centuries and included to UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pointing the Bibi Khanum Mosque, you will be told that, the mosque was dedicated to beloved Tamerlane's wife, when he came back from India. Later on, you will travel to Bukhara. Night is in a hotel.
Day 7: Bukhara - Tashkent
Welcome having a city tour! Today we will have outstanding tour to ancient citadel in Bukhara like Citadel Ark (4th century). It connected several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Afterwards, visit Samanids mausoleum (9th - 10th century). Continue to Chashma Ayub (Job's well) and Bolo-Hauz mosque. There are forty columns built in integrity of Bukhara governor Abu-Fayud Khan. There are different shops allow travelers to get oriental souvenirs. Later, visit the madrasahs of Bukhara called Nodir Divan Begi fitting to Lyabi House Ensemble. The tour will end by visiting Poi Kalon complex as the exclusive architectural art of Bukhara. It has three structures built dating back to the the 12th - 16th centuries as Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Drive to Tashkent. We hope you liked our tours! Rest is in a hotel.
