Day 1: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek (40 km, asphalt 100 %)
Arriving at Manas International airport, travellers will be met by our representatives. You will be provided by chosen car rental. The tour will start by moving in the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek (30 minutes). On the way, you will have the opportunity to enjoy wonderful landscape and highlights. Afterwards, your Self-drive Tour 1 will impress you by the national park - Ala Archa gorge. It is one of the most visited places among travellers. Being there, the nature will inspire you by its uniqueness and let you enjoy by the great Tien Shan forest. The second half of the day will be dedicated to the short city tour which includes visiting sites as the Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic. Later on, you will take a rest in the hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Chon Kemin (150 km, asphalt 100 %)
Today, you will drive to Burana tower. It is important to note that, this sacred minaret was built in the 11th century. Its height is about 45m. On the way, you will be told that, the Burana Tower disappeared and reconstructed many times. There are ancient balbals (stone warriors). They are dedicated in honor of soldiers who died for Motherland. After that we will travel to Chon Kemin gorge and have a wonderful entertainment of horse riding. We are sure you will like to ride among green pastures and valleys. Today you will have a home stay.
Day 3: Chon Kemin - Issyk Kul lake northern shore - Karakol (330 km, asphalt 100 %)
Having a hearty breakfast in Chon Kemin, you will start the tour of moving to the north of Issyk Kul Lake. The lake is considered to be the pearl of Kyrgyzstan. In the course of tours, you will learn that, the lake is situated at the altitude of 1600 m. There is one more interesting fact that, the Issyk Kul is never freezes and transparent. Moving on, we will drive to Karakol town. The town is famous for the most delicious ashlyamfu. Don't miss to taste it! Also, you will have the opportunity to visit Dungan mosque and Orthodox Church as well as see petroglyphs. After a long and productive day, you will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 4: Karakol - Jeti Oguz - Issyk Kul southern shore - Kochkor (300 km, asphalt 100 %)
Waking up early in the morning, we will start our tour to the famous Jeti Oguz gorge (Seven Bulls). The place is famous for seven red rocks in a row. In addition, you will notice the Broken Heart Mountain full of legends and myths. Afterwards, you will move to Bokonbaevo village. Being there, you will have the opportunity to see eagle trainer and eagles. He will share with you some necessary information about eagle hunting. After that, you will see it on work. By the way, to be an eagle trainer is not easy as it seems to. This skill is passed from one generation to another. Later, we will visit Kochkor village and learn how to make carpets. It is important to note that, before traders made their way from there to Kashgar. Nowadays, you will have the opportunity to have entertainments as trekking, horse riding and others. Today you will have a comfortable home stay in the home of the local family.
Day 5: Kochkor - Tash Rabat (235 km, asphalt 80 %, 20 % dirt)
Having slept well and quick breakfast, we will drive to the ancient Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone Castle). We are sure you will be impressed by this site! And the road is perfect for Off road 4X4 tour. There are a lot of legends about it. It is important to note there is a deep pit - zindan where criminals sentenced to the death. Also, place is used for crossing the Great Silk Road. In the course of tours, you will find 31 rooms at 3200 m above sea level. In addition, you may hear voices there, even on day time (who knows, maybe voices of dead souls). Afterwards, we will have a traditional dinner and spend the night in nomadic dwellings - yurts near Tash Rabat Caravanserai.
Day 6: Tash Rabat - Son Kul (255 km, asphalt 50 %, dirt 50 %)
We are glad to present you the next day of visiting Son Kul Lake. We have no doubt that, you will be impressed by the second largest lake of Kyrgyzstan. Being in this amazing place, you will see water changes to different colors. The lake is used to change its color to blue, red, yellow (maybe depending on mood or sunset). You are going to be impressed by its nature and surrounded mountains among the lake which lies altitude of 3016 m above sea level. Later on, you will have a chance to spend your night in yurts.
Day 7: Son Kul - Kochkor (140 km, dirt 50 %, asphalt 50 %)
In the course of today's tour you will visit Kochkor village and get acquainted with the cattle breeding culture and get impression of unique landscape. Kyrgyz nature used to attract travellers from around the world. Later, you will have a traditional lunch at 2 pm and back again to Kochkor village. You will have the opportunity to see gorges and passes which will not leave you indifferent! After a long day, you will have a home stay.
Day 8: Kochkor - Bishkek (225 km, asphalt 100 %)
Having a great night, we will return to Bishkek city. Being in capital, it is important to visit the famous Asian Bazaar where you will be impressed by a large variety of goods and even bargain. Over the time, you can visit shopping malls and buy gifts. Afterwards, you will have a rest in the hotel.
Day 9: Bishkek - Airport
Today your Self-drive Tour 1 is over and you will have a morning transfer to airport.
