Day 1: Bishkek - Burana - Kochkor - Son Kul
Welcome to Kyrgyz Tour 5. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan, the Son Kul lake. This alpine lake can be found in the altitude of 3013 meters above sea level among the celestial mountains. This area herders' use as the pastureland from ancient times while local people come here for rest and relaxation. On the way to this prominent lake you will have a stop at the Burana Tower of an 11th century and an open air museum of Balbals or stone warriors. Later on you will visit Kochkor village where you will see local family that will teach you the secret of making national felt carpets. You will spend the night in nomadic felt dwellings, yurts, near the lake.
Day 2: Son Kul - Kazarman
In course of the tour you will drive to Kazarman village. As you known 93% of territory of Kyrgyzstan is mountainous. Here you will be able to witness the nomadic way of life at the remote areas. Kyrgyzstan is country for those who love mountains and unusual cultures. In course of the tour you will be able to see the breathtaking view of gorges. In course of the Kyrgyz Tour 5 you will have an opportunity to see some nomads that still live in this region. Night will be in a home stay.
Day 3: Kazarman - Osh
Today you will travel to the Southern capital of Kyrgyzstan. The road to Osh city will take 6 hours. On the way you will have a stop at Djalal Abad town where the famous Uzgen Tower is located. This imposing tower was built in 11th century by Karakhanids. In addition you will be able to witness the burial chambers of the leaders. The road to Osh will amaze you by majestic mountains and excellent panoramic views. Don't miss the chance to take a lot of photos. You will really enjoy it! This night you will spend in a hotel.
Day 4: Osh - Arslanbob
Today you will have a guided city tour where you will visit the Suleiman Mountain. You will find Suleiman Too (Solomon's Mountain) in the center of the city. Moreover it will be interesting to know that is also known as pilgrimage place for local Muslims. As the legend says biblical prophet Solomon (Suleiman in the Koran) was buried at the foot of it. After it you will drive to see the Arslanbob walnut forest. In course of the travel you will know that Arslanbob's grove produces 1500 tons of walnuts per year and is the largest single natural source of walnuts in the World. Night is in a home stay.
Day 5: Arslanbob
In the morning you will have a walking tour in Arslanbob walnut forests. The territory of this prominent site is 11,000 hectares due to which it also known as the "Royal Woods of Kyrgyzstan". During the Great Silk Road in the Middle Ages nuts from this place were exported to another countries. In course of the tour you will hike to a small waterfall. This interesting site hides a lot of incredible places. You will be able to communicate with locals. This night will be in a home stay.
Day 6: Arslanbob - Bishkek
Today you will drive back to the capital of Kyrgyzstan. You will drive via the southern part of the country. You will be impressed by the breathtaking beauty of mountains and gorges. Moreover your road will go via the Tue Ashuu pass that is located on the elevation of more than 3000 meters above sea level. You will be impressed to know that this road is considered to be one of the most picturesque in Kyrgyzstan. Don't miss the chance to take a lot of colorful photos. Day 7: Bishkek
Today you will explore all the prominent sights of the city like Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic, and many others places of interest. Moreover you will have a tour in Asian Bazaar! Here you will have a chance to see the many interesting and colorful goods as well as taking a lot of photos of bustling local life. You will see the noisy and crowded bazaar that is interesting to explore. You will spend the night in a hotel.
