Day 1: Nur-Sultan
We are happy to see enjoying Kazakh Tour 3! In airport you will be met by our team and drive to hotel. Start a tour of visiting the historical center and modern parts of the city. Visit the Constitution Square! You will learn that the president of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev was declared there. He was the only one who changed the capital of the country from Almaty to Astana, which later became Nur-Sultan. Afterwards you can visit the Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan* as see the Golden man. For sure you will be inspired on tours. Then, you can visit the largest and unique shopping center - Khan Shatyr as well as the top of the Astana-Baiterek monument. Here is a very beautiful panorama view! There are various and cafes. Later on you can walk to Ishym river and see the Kazakh Eli Square. Your tour will go on visiting the famous Palace of Peace and Reconciliation where you can enjoy the beauty of Khazret Sultan mosque. Afterwards visit the National Museum of History of Kazakhstan*. You will learn more about its history and the development of Nur-Sultan. With the team of us you will get maximum pleasure from the tour. Then, is transfer to a hotel at about 17:00.
*Note: Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and National Museum of History of Kazakhstan is not available on Mondays. It is possible to visit other attractions upon your request.
Day 2: Nur-Sultan - Borovoe - Nur-Sultan
We are glad to present a wonderful day of visiting Burabai National park (Borovoe) which takes 85000 hectares of northeastern part of Kokshetau elevation. On the way you will find 14 lakes in the park. They occupy more than 1 sq.km of area. No doubt you will love it! It is important to note that, you cannot find remains of monuments in Borovoe. Walking along nature, you will be impressed by celestial mountains, panorama views, blue mirror lakes, woods and others places of wonder. See the resort area of 270 km from Nur-Sultan. Afterwards, you will drive to the Khan's pass and see Burabay and Zheke-Batyr mountains. We will continue to see the Abylaykhan Valley and find sites as Ush-kyz, Ok-Zhetpes rocks and Kokshetau mountain. This is a great idea to learn more about Kazakh culture! You will have a short walk around the wood as well as hiking tour on Bolektau mountain. The Borovoe lake and amazing Zhumbaktas rock will be breathtaking! This is a great chance to see the Kazakhstan steppe. Today you will spend night in a hotel.
Day 3: Nur-Sultan - morning flight Almaty
The tour will start by morning flight to Almaty city. Today you will have an opportunity to get acquainted with history of the city. Start visiting the famous Green Bazaar. It is perfect for shopping. Afterwards you will visit one of the oldest Almaty parks as Panfilov Park as well as see the wooden buildings in the world - Zenkov Cathedral. Continue to visit the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame. The site is dedicated to brave soldiers who lost their lives protecting motherland. Then, we will travel to the Medeo Gorge. Being there you will enjoy skating on rink on the biggest dam. Further, we will drive to the Kok-Tobe hill. It is the famous place of travelers. In addition, you will see the tallest TV tower in the world! There are a lot of small shops where you can buy souvenirs. In Kok-Tobe Park, visitors can enjoy panorama views and find peace. The day will end by having fun by the famous Almaty cableway. Night will be spent in comfortable hotel.
Day 4: Almaty - Issyk - Almaty
Today we will travel to the stunning gorges as Trans-Ili Alatau or Issyk Gorge, situated along the Kuldja tract. On the way you will be told about the burial mounds of Saka period which is known for the famous "Golden Man". Later, erected as the state symbol of Kazakhstan. We will continue our interesting tour to visit the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "ISSYK". On arrival, you will find ancient traces, a copy of Golden Man, golden items, ceramics, weapon, horse tools and the model of Saka burial mound. Passing at the altitude of 1756 meters above sea level, you will reach to the mountain lake Issyk, formed 10,000 years ago and has the natural dam of 300 meters in height. Don't miss to see blue waters of the Issyk Gorge. Here you can hike as well as have picnic. Night is in a hotel.
Day 5: Almaty - Tamgaly Tas - Altyn Emel
Be ready at 08:00. Today you will drive to the Tamgaly Tas. It is located on the Ili River. You will be astonished by the beauty of monument. Inside, you will see the images of Buddha's and texts in Tibetan, Kalmyk and other languages. They are carved on rocks and maybe exists for about over 150 years. On way, you have an opportunity to see panoramic views. In addition, you will place where was filming of "The Nomad" film. Then, we will transfer to Baschi village and visit the Altyn Emel National Park in order to see the Singing Dune. It has height of 120 meters and a length of about 3 km and located on the corners of the Altyn-Emel National Park, just few kilometers from the Ili river and between the mountains of Big and Small Kalkan. It sounds as the organ music and drum. Walking to the top of the Dune, you will observe panorama. The Ili River is visible in the south as spectacular mountains of Sogety and Boguty, looking the white peaks of the Ketmen ridge. You can see the steep slope of the Big Kalkan and the Small Kalkan from the east. In the north you will enjoy seeing the violet-blue ridge of Djungarian Alatau mountains, Chulak mountain, Matai and Altyn-Emel. This day will bring opportunity to your tours. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 6: Altyn Emel - Saty - Kaindy
Today you will travel to Kolsai Lakes at about 12:00. The wonderful sightseeing will not leave anyone indifferent. The wonderful Kaindy Lake or birch lake is situated in pine forest at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level and formed in 1911 because of the earthquake and landslide. Its waters are cold. In addition, you can take vibrant photos and enjoy surroundings of nature. In the end of day, you will be transferred to Saty for rest and sleep.
Day 7: Saty - Kolsai Lakes
Breakfast at 07:00. After that trekking tour from the lake Kolsai-1 to the lake Kolsai-2. Kolsai Lakes or "Pearls of the Northern Tien-Shan" has three lakes. You will be impressed by green meadows and mushroom and even horse riding. Here you will be impressed by flora and fauna. You can reach by car and see green forests of berries, mushrooms and fishing, which is available in spring. Travelers will be impressed by background and want to come here again and again. As for animals, you will find marals, mountain goats, wolves as well as bears. After productive day, you will have cozy sleep in a hotel.
Day 8: Saty - Charyn Canyon - Almaty
Today you will departure to Almaty at 09:00am. On the way you will visit the Charyn Canyon. It is a natural park of Kazakhstan, appeared in the period of Paleogene. The site looks like the Grand Canyon of Colorado River in North America, because of size. The height of the steep slopes of the canyon is about 150-300 meters. The next is seeing the "Valley of Castles" enclosed by rocks. The length of the valley is more than 2 km and width is about 20-80 meters. We are sure exploring the pristine nature of Kazakhstan will inspire our dear travelers on tours. Afterwards you will back to Almaty at 19:00. Night is in a hotel.
