Ancient Kyrgyz used to say "Horse is man's wings". Since ancient times horse plays an enormous role in the life of nomads. It is impossible to survive without a horse in our mountainous country. During the trip you will learn Kyrgyz traditional culture, because the Kyrgyz being nomads for many years managed to keep all traditions till now days.
Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake
Your guide takes you from Manas Airport to Bishkek City (30 min. drive) where you will have breakfast. Then you will be driven (200 km) to the shining Issyk Kul Lake - pearl of Central Asia (1608m.above sea level). Moving there you will visit the Burana Tower (ancient minaret of 11 century) with "Cemetery of Balbans" (stone warriors). After our getting to Hotel you will have a rest on the northern shore of the lake where you can enjoy warm and pure water of the lake which is provides healing qualities. Your dinner will be served at 7 p.m.
Day 2: Issyk-Kul Lake - Karakol
After breakfast and until the lunch you will have time to spend it on the warm beach enjoying weather and water. And after that, drive to Karakol city by car (200 km) at the beginning visiting the ritual stone depictions (dating back to 800 B.C.). You will also stop for one hour cruise on a steam boat before you get to Karakol. National dinner will be in a restaurant at 8 p.m. For additional price you can have a folklore show there. Night is in a Guesthouse.
Day 3: Karakol - Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley
Traditional breakfast will be served at 8 o'clock. The day starts with a guided Karakol City Tour and you can visit the Dungan mosque built in Chinese style, very colorful wooden Orthodox Church and museum of M.V. Prejvalsky at the high shore of Issyk Kul Lake. This person was one of the most famous explorers of Central Asia. Transfer to Chong Kyzyl Suu Valley (70 km). On the way, you will have a chance to visit the mineral sources of hot springs at Jeli Suu ( Dungan Village) and take a bath And after that, we saddle our horses and start move to the Physical and Geographical station of Chong Kyzyl Suu to stay for night yurts - traditional collapsible dwelling of Kyrgyz.
Day 4: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Ashu Tor - Chong Kyzyl Suu (6h)
A strengthening breakfast will be served at 9 am, after that we start the ascent toward the Ashu Tor pass (2800m). You will have lunch and start the rising to a sparking alpine lake on your horses. There are many mountain goats exist there. At the end of the day we go down to the station. Dinner is served at 8 p.m. Overnight is in yurts.
Day 5: Chong Kyzyl Suu - Kishi Kyzyl Suu
In the morning after you finish your breakfast we start riding to the colorful valley of Kishi Kyzyl Suu (6h). Lunch will be served on the way to a picturesque canyon that will not leave you indifferent. We will reach the Kishi Kyzyl village at 7 p.m. there we will have dinner and night in tents.
Day 6: Kishi Kyzyl Suu village - Jumakuchak
Today we start horse riding toward Jumakuchak valley (6 hours).We will rise over Jumalai pass, and have a halt for lunch there. There is a wonderful view of the mirror surface of Issyk-Kul Lake from the pass. You will be able to see its virgin natural beauty with your own eyes. Traditional dinner is served at 7 p.m. Overnight in Jumakuchak in tents surrounded by colorful yurts of Kyrgyz nomads.
Day 7: Jumakuchak - Kok Terek village
The day starts at 8 am with a breakfast, and after that we start riding to Kok Terek Village (6h). On the way you will move through the red cave that is called "500 rams" and have an interesting legend. Your lunch will be served near the sparkling mountain waterfall. Very close to this waterfall are situated hot sources (40 degrees Celsius) that are also possible to visit if you wish. After that we continue our journey to Kok Terek village. Our dinner and overnight will be in a home stay.
Day 8: Kok Terek - Bishkek
We leave the village after breakfast and drive to Bishkek city along the southern shore of the Issyk-Kul Lake (380 km). You will get to Bishkek in a Hotel **** at 5 pm, and you are invited to a farewell dinner in a restaurant will be served at 7 pm.
Day 9: Bishkek - Europe
After breakfast we start our Bishkek city tour that includes the central Ala-Too Square, Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others highlights. At 1 p.m. you will have lunch after that you will be transferred to the airport.
