Good tourists usually say «If you have not seen Central Asia, you have not seen the world!" During this tour you will see many interesting places like ancient Burana Tower and unique Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone Castle), the second largest mountain lake in the world Issyk-Kul; adorable stone depictions, churches, mosques and so on. Kyrgyzstan is the place of perfect nature and well kept traditions.
Day 1: Bishkek city
The guide meets you in Airport and accompanies to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek (30 min. drive), where you will have a breakfast. The entire day is dedicated to a guided Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. You will visit the central Ala-Too Square, shady Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many other highlights. The dinner will be organized in a local restaurant. And you will spend the night in a Hotel****.
Day 2: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley
Your breakfast will be offered as usual at 8. Then you will be drive to the impressive Chon Kemin valley (120km) by car. On the trip visiting of Burana Tower (watch tower of the fortress 11th century) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). After having a traditional lunch you will have a short excursion in Issyk-Ata gorge with the bewitching waterfall. We will arrive at the Kalmak Ashuu Guesthouse and you will be offered dinner at 7 p.m.
Day 3: Chong Kemin - Son Kul Lake
After you have a breakfast we start our drive to the adorable Son Kul Lake (the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan). Lunch will be taken on the way. Son Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. Since ancient times herders of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a generous pasturelands. After our arrival, you will be free to observe and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings. You will stay for the night in yurts and have traditional dinner. And yurt is very comfortable, fancy decorated dwelling of nomads. Traditionally it builds without nails, just wood and felt.
Day 4: Son Kul Lake
Breakfast will be offered at 8 am. Today you have free day to spend at Son-Kul Lake, when you will observe and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings on your own. You can ride a horse along the lake, or just relaxing in the atmosphere of the virgin and calm nature. Lunch will be offered at 2 pm. Then you will visit ancient petrogliphs (ritual stone depictions) and sacred stones of shamans. It is a great opportunity to get acquainted with nomadic traditional culture. National dinner will be offered in yurts. You will spend the night in yurts as nomads do.
Day 5: Son Kul Lake - At Bashi
Breakfast will be offered at 8 am, and then we leave Son Kul by car that brings us to the At Bashi valley (200km). You will not be able to stay indifferent to the delightfulscenery offered through views the adorable nature. This night you stay in yurts, and there you will have nice dinner.
Day 6: At Bashi - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone castle)
Your breakfast will be offered as usual at 8. Then, after packing your backpacks, you will be transferred to the Tash Rabat- Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle from the 14th century). You will be admired by the impressive scenery of the untouched nature. The castle is unique massive building that was made of stones and it built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m above sea level. There are 31 rooms in the mountain. The walls are 1 m thick. There are also underground prison cells for ancient pilferers. Traditional dinner will be offered at 7 p.m. and this night you will spend in yurts near by the Tash Rabat caravanserai.
Day 7: Tash Rabat - Kochkor valley
Breakfast will be offered at 8 am, and then you will be transferred to Kochkor village (185 km). At the Kochkorka village you will meet a hospitable family that shows you the way of how national woolen felt carpets are produced. You even can create your own carpet. Overnight is in the Kochkor Guesthouse and there you will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a special national music show.
Day 8: Kochkor valley - Tamga village
Traditional breakfast will be followed by the transfer to the delightfulIssyk-Kul Lake (200 km), the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608m.above sea level). Another name of the Lake is "the pearl of Central Asia". On the trip you will drive through the gorgeous valley and you will pass the bewitchingOrto Tokoi reservoir. After we arrive at Tamga village you will have a rest on the southern beach of the lake where you can enjoy the pure water and curative qualities of the lake. Your dinner will be offered in the Tamga Guest house and there you stay for this night.
Day 9: Tamga - Karakol
After you have a breakfast you will have free time to enjoy the lake till 12 pm. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (50km). Delicious lunch will be offered in the Karakol. And then a enchantingKarakol City Tour is waiting for you. The tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque. That it is built by Chinese technology without using any metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of a small wooden Russian Orthodox Church. Later, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest observes. His the most famous achivements were the crossing of the Taklamakan desert and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. Your dinner will be offered in a guest house and there you stay for this night.
Day 10: Karakol - Altin Arashan - Karakol
You will have a good breakfast before you will be transferred to the magnificent Altin Arashan Gorge by a heavy Russian military 4WD vehicle. Altin Arashan ("Golden Spa") gorge is one of the most visited gorges in Karakol because of the Tian-Shan fir trees that grow everywhere there and healing properties of the water. After taking a bath in hot springs (there are some special little cabins) you will take lunch in the one of the most beautiful places you have ever seen. Afterwards you will have 1 hour of enchantinghiking in the gorge and then you will be transferred to the city. Your dinner will be offered in a guest house and there you stay for this night.
Day 11: Karakol - Cholpon Ata
Your breakfast will be offered as usual at 8 o'clock. After the breakfast you will move to Cholpon Ata city along the northern shore of the shining treasure of Central Asia - Issyk-Kul Lake (120km). On the way, we will make a short break at 1 pm, where you can enjoy lunch in a calm and nice atmosphere. Afterwards we will visit an ancient stone depictions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. The museum is dedicated to the Issyk-Kul Lake, which's beauty you will be able to delight during another break, where you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat. The dinner will be organized in a local hotel, where you will also spend the night.
Day 12: Cholpon Ata - Bishkek
Breakfast will be offered at 8 am, and then there is free time on the beach till 11 o'clock to have a rest and relax before you will be transferred to Bishkek city (280km) by car through a gorgeous Boom Gorge. Your farewell meal will be offered in a restaurant and for night you stay in a Hotel***.
Day 13: Bishkek - Europe
The guide will take you from the Hotel and attend to the Manas Airport according to the time of your departure.
