You will enjoy seeing our wild nature, untouched places, and unforgettable ancient sights! The whole tour goes along theGreat Silk Road passing through the impressive Tian Shan massif. You will visit the world's second largest alpine lake Issyk-Kul, as well as the picturesque Son Kul Lake, situated on a high plateau in the centre of Kyrgyzstan (3013m. above sea level). You can merge in the life of nomadic people and to see their traditions and customs.
Day 1: Bishkek - Issyk Kul Lake
Your tour-guide meets you in the airport and you drive to the Bishkek city (the capital of Kyrgyzstan) after arrival in the city you will be having breakfast. Then you will be driven to the wonderful Issyk-Kul Lake (200 km), the second deepest lake in the world. The Lake is also called "the pearl of Central Asia". On our way, we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret refers to 11 century) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). After lunch we will continue the way to the lake. As soon as we are in Hotel you will have a rest and time to go on the northern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Water of lake is curative because many thermal springs can be fount there. Dinner time is 7 p.m.
Day 2: Issyk-Kul Lake - Karakol
You will be served breakfast at 8 a.m. You will have enough free time to enjoy this place and to swim till 12 p.m. After having rest you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (200 km). On the way, we will stop to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.) and the local museum situating at the same area. You will have a second stop during the trip at 13 o'clock, where you can enjoy lunch in a relaxed atmosphere. After lunch we will go to Karakol city along the northern shore of the pearl of Central Asia, which's beauty you will be able to enjoy to the full during another break, where you go on a one hour cruise on a steam boat. After that is transferring to Karakol. Dinner time is 7 p.m. you overnight in a guest house.
Day 3: Karakol - Tamga
Time of your breakfast is 8 a.m. in the morning will be guided city tour around Karakol town.. The tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque which was built about 100 years ago by one Chinese man as a present for local muslims. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Later, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the worlds greatest explores. His biggest achievements were the crossing of the great desert Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. We will end the City Tour with a traditional lunch and leave Karakol at 1 pm, starting our way to the impressive Jeti Oguz, the gorge of 7 red rocks (30km). You will see the Broken Heart Mountain and the Sanatorium (where you can take a hydro shower or get a massage). Then off to explore the Jeti Oguz valley (Yuri Gagarin's cottage house, yurts, alpine vegetation) or Chong Kyzyl Suu valley with its hot mineral springs and geophysics station built in 1948. After that we will go to tamga village. Tamga was a place where ancient Tibetan monks lived in the 13th century. Dinner and overnight will be in guest house of Tamga village.
Day 4: Tamga - Bokonbaiva - Kochkorka (120km)
Breakfast time is 9 a.m. After breakfast is your free time which you can spend going to the beach till 12 o'clock. Afterwards we start our trip to Kochkorka village by car. Lunch will be served in the house of hunter with eagle in Bokonbaevo village. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles (traditional way of nomads hunting). An eagle hunting show can be arranged. Afterwards, we will continue our way to Kochkorka through the Orto-Tokoi water reservoir. At the Kochkorka village we will visit family which makes national Kyrgyz carpet and you will have a chance to participate in its process. You will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a special national music show. Night you will spend in the guest house of Kochkorka village.
Day 5: Kochkorka - Son Kul Lake
In the morning we will start our way to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul Lake. We will have lunch on the way. Son Kul Lake situated at a height of 3013 meters above sea level and surrounded by beautiful mountains. This lake is very famous for its relaxing atmosphere as it is situated far from busy cities. After our arrival, you will be free to explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings. You will have dinner and overnight in Kyrgyz yurts. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings. Yurts are built without nails.
Day 6: Son Kul (3013m. above sea level)
Breakfast time is 9 a.m. After having breakfast you will have enough free time to see environs, and explore its nature on your own. Horse back riding trip around the shore of lake is also possible. Lunch will be served at 2 pm. Then you will see also ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones of shamans. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. National dinner you will have in yurt where you spend one night either.
Day 7: Son Kul - Bishkek
The day begins with breakfast at 8 a.m. Then we will drive back to Bishkek city (the capital of Kyrgyzstan). As soon as we are in Bishkek you will have a city tour including lunch. In Bishkek you will see central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the Historical Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. You will receive a separate programme, listing all places visited including a brief description. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Check in a Hotel****.
Day 8: Bishkek - Europe
Your tour guide and your driver will meet your at your hotel and after that they accompany you to the International Airpot Manas according to the time of your flight arranged previously.
