This tour includes two most significant lakes in Kyrgyzstan. First of all you will see the largest lake Issyk Kul which is surrounded by mountains. Afterwards you will visit our famous Son Kul Lake that is situated on the altitude of 3016 m. a. s. l. You will sleep in yurts as nomads had been doing for many years and it is a great chance to find out more about Kyrgyz life!!!
Day 1: Bishkek city
Your tour-guide meets you in the airport and you drive to the Bishkek city (the capital of Kyrgyzstan) after arrival in the city you will be having breakfast. The entire day is dedicated to a guided Bishkek City Tour, including lunch. Here you will see central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the History Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest. National dinner will be at 8 p.m. you will spend the night in a Hotel****.
Day 2: Bishkek - Son Kul Lake
In the morning we will start our way to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul Lake. We will have lunch on the way. Son Kul Lake situated at a height of 3013 meters above sea level and surrounded by beautiful mountains. This lake is very famous for its relaxing atmosphere as it is situated far from busy cities. After our arrival, you will be free to explore and enjoy the virgin nature of the lake and its surroundings. You will have dinner and overnight in Kyrgyz yurts. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings. Yurts are built without nails.
Day 3: Son Kul Lake - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone castle)
After packing your backpacks, the day begins with breakfast at 8 o'clock. Then you will be transferred to the Tash Rabat- Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle from the 14th century). Tash Rabat is located at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. And it has no analogue in the whole world, because it was made of stones and furthermore it was built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m above sea level. It is remains of one of the cities on the Great Silk Road and this building had been used as hotel and shelter for travelers. In total there are 31 rooms in the mountain. The thickness of walls is 1 m. There are also underground prison cells for ancient thieves. National dinner will be at 7 p.m. You will spend the night in yurts near by the Tash Rabat caravanserai.
Day 4: Tash Rabat - Kochkor valley
After a strengthening breakfast you will be transferred to Kochkor village (185 km). . At the Kochkorka village we will visit family which makes national Kyrgyz carpet and you will have a chance to participate in its process. You will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a special national music show. Night you will spend in the guest house of Kochkorka village.
Day 5: Kochkor valley - Tamga village
Time of your breakfast is 8 a.m. Then our driver drives us to the celestial Issyk-Kul Lake (200 km), the second largest alpine lake in the world (1608m.above sea level). The Lake is also called "Kyrgyz Sea" because of its huge size. On the way you will drive through the gorgeous valley and you will pass the Orto Tokoi reservoir. As soon as we are in Tamga village you will have a rest on the southern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities. Dinner time is 7 p.m. in Tamga Guesthouse, where you will also spend the night.
Day 6: Tamga - Karakol
Time of your breakfast is 8 a.m. You will have breakfast at 8 a.m. After that your free time which you can spend swimming in the lake till 12 p.m. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (50km). You will take lunch in the Karakol. There you will have an excursion around main city sights. The tour includes the visit of the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explorers. His main achievements were the crossing of the great desert Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. Later, you will visit the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it is built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Traditional dinner will be served for you at 7 p.m. You will overnight in a guest house.
Day 7: Karakol - Bishkek
The day you will start with breakfast at 8 a.m. After the breakfast you will be transferred to Cholpon Ata city along the northern coast of the Issyk-Kul Lake (120km). On the way, we will make a short break at 1 p.m. to have lunch. Afterwards we will give you the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. After that you will be transferred to Bishkek city (280km) by car through a stunning Boom Gorge. Last dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Night in a Hotel****.
Day 8: Bishkek - Europe
Your tour guide and your driver will meet your at your hotel and after that they accompany you to the International Airport Manas according to the time of your flight arranged previously.
